When saving text fields, sometimes special characters are disappearing. For example, if a closing inspection entry includes bullet points, when reopened the bullets have disappeared. If then edited and saved, the characters seem to be retained. It's useful to have bullets in these fields to aid clarity.

Similarly, some characters in inventory comment fields being converted to the character code e.g. " becomes &quot and has to be edited.

This has only started happening recently.
