Very useful if tenants overstay when notice expires. Currently we have to make a judgement the day before the tenancy ends, and if we don't do it in time we have to make dummy tenancies which makes it hard to work out which 'tenancy' on the system forms the legal contract.

This would be extremely useful. Sometimes you don't know until after the proposed tenancy end date that a tenant will overstay. By having to set up a new tenancy when tenants overstay, it makes it difficult to keep track of any rent or rent arrears.

Second everything Andrew and Alex have said above. This really needs implementing.

quite long winded to renew a tenancy once the end date has lapsed. also runs the risks of arrears not being manually transferred across. really needs to be done.
