The 'Deposit Notes' section is only available when a tenancy is signed. However it would be useful to make notes in this section while let agreed. For example, certain things might be discussed that might be useful to place in the notes. It's also very useful to make notes when dealing with 'new' tenancies when swapping tenants as there's often extensive correspondence during this process that needs to be logged clearly.
