On occasions we receive credit notes from contractors so it would be useful if we could apply a credit note the same way we do a maintenance deduction so it shows on the landlords account the original invoice and then the credit note, along with the correct info (Credit note number etc) . Currently there is no way of doing this and we are just having to refund the original invoice and re-invoice with the new figure which is confusing for the landlords and contractors and also not correct for the contractors accounting purposes as they struggle to tie up the payments of invoices.
